2. Secondly, the installation position and flow direction of the water meter: the flow sensing part of the ultrasonic water meter can usually be installed in a horizontal, inclined or vertical pipeline. It is best to choose a place where the vertical pipeline flows from the bottom up. If it is top-down, there should be sufficient back pressure downstream, for example, there is a follow-up pipeline higher than the measuring point to prevent non-full pipe flow at the measuring point.
3. Pipeline conditions: The deposited surface area of the ultrasonic water meter pipeline will produce poor transmission of sound waves and deviation from the expected path and length of the sound channel, which should be avoided; In addition, the external surface is less affected because it is easy to handle. The transducer and pipe contact surface should be coated with coupling agent, should pay attention to the pipe of granular structural material, it is likely that the sound wave is dispersed, most of the sound wave can not transmit the fluid and reduce the performance. There should be no gap between the pipe lining or corrosion layer and the pipe wall where the transducer is installed. For the pipeline problem, another point to pay attention to is the parameters of the pipeline, must be accurate to know the parameters of the pipeline, such as the outer diameter of the pipeline, the inner diameter and the thick wall, etc., in order to obtain the highest accuracy.
4. Ultrasonic water meter installation environment selection: it should be installed in a place that is easy to disassemble and maintain; The installation site should not have strong vibration, and the ambient temperature will not change much; Try to stay away from devices with strong electromagnetic fields, such as large motors and transformers.
