The development history of area-velocity flow meter from Lanry

Our area velocity flow meter is a type of flow instruments in open channel and partially filled pipe. Area-Velocity Doppler flowmeter is ok to calculate flow ,flow rate and level measurement for all kinds of fluid (from little dirty to very dirty liquids ) by ultrasonic probe and pressure probe. The probe is mounted inside the pipe and at the bottom of open channel. 

Area velocity liquid flowmeter works well on open channels for waste water treatment,effluent flow detector, industrial waste water treatment plants and agricultural irrigition,environmental monitoring,influent flowand storm water monitor,ground water,etc.

For open channel and not full pipe doppler flow meter,it has below advantages:

1. It doesn’t require any flume or weir and easy to install;

2. 4.5 inch color LCD display and Ip68 protection class,it can perfectly show that flow rate,velocity,totalizer,level and other valuable information by LCD display;

3. Excellent measurement value of liquid level,conductivity,flow and flow rate;

4. Data logger function ultrasonic flow meter for data monitoring and report;

In 1996,we launched the first-generation QSD6526 doppler flow sensor.

Doppler ultrasonic flowmeter can measure the flow velocity of liquid and water level by pressure sensor.

1. The flow velocity range is from 21mm/s to 4500mm/s

2. The level measurement range is from 0 to 2m and 0 to 5m .

3. The accuracy is 2%

In 2014, we launched the second-generation meter: QSD6527 doppler flow sensor.

The updated function of area velocity ultrasound flowmeter as follow：

1. The liquid level is measured by ultrasonic sensor,rather than pressure sensor;

2. It adopts epoxy-sealed body design and can acheive bidirection liquid flow measurement;

In 2018,we launched latest version area velocity doppler flow monitor:QSD6537 doppler flow sensor.

1. Add the function of conductivity measurement;

2. Level measurement in fluid can measured by two methods:ultrasonic sensor and pressure sensor;

3. Add the function of barometric pressure and temperature compensation ;

4.  This meter adpots digital DSP doppler technology,instead of simulation doppler tech. The accuracy is ±1% ;

5. The flow velocity range of this meter is from 20mm/s to 12 m/s;

6. The level range is 20mm to 5m by ultrasonic sensor and 0mm to 10mm by pressure sensor;

7. This updated meter can measure clean liquids;

8. The probe adds Modbus RTU output;
