Portable ultrasonic flowmeters measure liquid flow by detecting the effect of fluid flow on ultrasonic waves, which uses the “time difference method”. First, the probe is used to transmit the signal, and the signal is received by the probe on the other side after passing through the tube wall, fluid and tube wall. When the probe transmits the signal, the probe also sends out the same signal, which is received by the probe after passing through the tube wall, the fluid and the tube wall. Because of the existence of the flow rate, the two times are different and there is a time difference, so the flow rate can be obtained according to the time difference, and then the flow value can be obtained.
The product adopts non-contact measurement method, the measurement range is large, no moving mechanical parts, and is not affected by the system pressure and harsh environment. It has been successfully applied to the measurement of water, pure water, seawater, sewage, chemical liquid, river water, fuel oil and other fluids.
