1. Installation position
The fixed ultrasonic flowmeter should be installed in an area where the fluid flow is stable and there is no vortex and rotating flow to ensure the accuracy of the measurement. At the same time, it should avoid installation in positions that interfere with pipe bending, valves, etc.
2. Installation direction
The layout direction of the sensor should be determined in accordance with the flow direction of the fluid to ensure that the transmission and reception of the ultrasonic wave is in the direction of the flow rate.
3. Installation length
The length of the sensor layout should meet certain requirements, in general, the distance between the sensor and obstacles such as pipe bending and valves should be ensured, so as not to affect the spread and reception of ultrasonic waves.
4. Clean process before installation
Before installation, ensure the cleanliness inside the pipeline to avoid the interference of impurities and dirt on the ultrasonic wave.
5. Grounding and shielding
In order to reduce the impact of external interference, the fixed ultrasonic flowmeter should be grounded and properly shielded.
6. Temperature and pressure Factors
The temperature and pressure range of the fluid also need to be considered during installation to ensure the normal operation and service life of the flowmeter.
