As the ultrasonic sensors are simply clamped on the pipe surface, Lanry ultrasonic flow meters can be installed without no need of breaking into pipelines.

While particularly rough or pitted pipe surfaces may need cleaning with a file or suitable abrasive material, Lanry flow sensors can usually be installed by simple polish the surface of the pipe.
One thing you need to know as below.
Clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter works on the flow measurement of various liquids which contains some air bubbles. When the liquid pressure is lower than the saturated vapor pressure,those gas will be release from this liquid,and air bubbles will heap up the above the pipe.Those bubbles will affect the spread of ultrasonic signal and have a negative influence.Besides,it usually heap up some solids ,rusts,sands,and other similar particles,attached the inner of the pipe wall,maybe it can cover the insertion ultrasonic probe,and make this flow meter does not work well,so for liquid measurement,we suggest that user should avoid the above or bottom of pipe when the meter is installed.
