1. Avoid installing the machine in the water pump, high-power radio and frequency conversion, that is, where there is strong magnetic field and vibration interference;
2. Select the pipe segment with uniform density and easy ultrasonic transmission;
3. There should be a long enough straight pipe section. The straight pipe section upstream of the installation point should be greater than 10D(note: D= diameter), and the downstream should be greater than 5D;
4. The upstream of the installation point should be kept 30D away from the water pump;
5. Fluid should fill the pipe;
6. The re should be enough space around the pipeline to facilitate the operation of on-site personnel, and the underground pipeline should be a test well;
7. When measuring new pipelines, when encountering paint or zinc pipes, you can use roving to treat the surface of the pipeline first, and then use fine yarn to continue processing, so as to ensure that the flow sensor installation point of the ultrasonic flowmeter is smooth and smooth, and the flow probe of the ultrasonic flowmeter can be in good contact with the outer wall of the measured pipeline;
8. Before collecting the flow data of the pipeline, be sure to measure the outer circumference of the pipeline (with a tape measure), wall thickness (with a thickness gauge), and the temperature of the outer wall of the pipeline (with a surface thermometer);
9. Remove the insulation and protective layer from the installation part, and polish the wall where the sensor is installed. Avoid local depression, smooth bumps and clean paint rust layer;
10. For the vertically set pipe, if it is a mono propagation time instrument, the installation position of the sensor should be as far as possible in the bending axis plane of the upstream bend pipe, so as to obtain the average value of the bending pipe flow field after distortion;
11. The sensor installation of the ultrasonic flowmeter and the tube wall reflection must avoid the interface and weld;
12. The pipe lining and calibration layer at the installation of the ultrasonic flowmeter sensor should not be too thick. There should be no gap between lining, rust layer and pipe wall. For severely corroded pipes, a hammer can be used to knock the pipe wall to shake off the rust layer on the pipe wall to ensure the normal propagation of sound waves. However, care must be taken to prevent the pits from being struck;
13. There is sufficient coupling agent between the sensor working face and the pipe wall, and there can be no air and solid particles to ensure good coupling.
