Reasonable installation can ensure the accurate measurement of ultrasonic flowmeter. Do “three confirmation” before installation, that is, confirm the material and wall thickness of the circulating water pipeline (fully consider the scale thickness of the inner wall of the pipeline, the actual inner diameter is equal to the outer diameter of the circulating water pipe) the water pipeline minus the material thickness and scale thickness of the inner wall of the pipeline. If the pipe is lined, the lining thickness shall be subtracted); Confirm whether the fluid medium in the pipe and the pipe are full (install a pipe section with a stable flow rate and full pipe, otherwise the measurement accuracy will be affected); Confirm the service life of the pipeline (if the service life of the pipeline is about 10 years, even if it is carbon steel material, it is best to insert the installation). Select a sufficiently long circulating water section during installation to create a stable speed distribution. The length of the upstream straight pipe is generally required to be 5D ~ 10D (D is the nominal pipe diameter, the same below), and the downstream straight pipe length is 3D ~ 5D. If the length of the straight pipe section does not meet the requirements, the measurement accuracy will be reduced. Stay away from pumps and valves as much as possible. The pump should be 50D upstream of the measurement section, and the valve should be 30D upstream of the measurement section.
